St. Margaret’s Winds, the St. Margaret’s Alumni Band, comprises graduates from St. Margaret’s Symphonic Band whose passion for music continues even after the years in secondary school. Currently, the members comprise graduates from 1999 to 2007. Formed in 2005, St. Margaret’s Winds hopes to be a source of inspiration to their juniors and provide a path for band lovers to continue the pleasure of music-making even upon graduation.
Coordinated by Ms Seow Shu Feng, our president, and under the direction of Mr. Leonard Tan, St. Margaret’s Winds had its maiden performance in POLKA! III in 2005 as a guest performer in Victoria Concert Hall and looks forward to participating in similar performances in the future.
The official St. Margaret’s Winds website was set up on the 12th Feburary, 2008. It aims to bring all our alumni members together, and to let the juniors from the St. Margaret’s Symphonic Band to keep in touch with the alumni, and to know the upcoming plans and activites we have.
